- Tonight, Sheamus beat up Big E in a parking lot and took him out of the number one contenders 4-way match for later in the evening.

- That match but eventually the one by Jey Uso who will now challenge his cousin Roman Reigns at WWE Clash of Champions for the WWE Universal Championship in a match that, much like SummerSlam, nobody saw coming.

- Speaking of Roman Reigns, he is now here to Simply “show up and win.”

- The WWE Intercontinental Championship picture continues to heat up with Sami Zayn, Jeff Hardy, and AJ Styles all laying claim to the championship.

- John Morrison thought he stole the Money in the Bank briefcase, but all he got was Otis’ lunch box.

- WWE teasing the SmackDown arrival of a mystery woman. Who could it be?

- Bayley finally snapped and the friendship with Sasha Banks may be over for good.

- Elsewhere in the wrestling world, the focus tonight was on the internal memo sent out by Vince McMahon asking Superstars to cease third-party social media involvement.
