Brayden Ray (‘Sexy’ BJ Ray) Released By WWE
BJ Ray’s time in WWE has come to an end.
Brayden Ray, known as “Sexy” BJ Ray in WWE, was released on October 10th, 2025, as reported by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp and PWN’s Cory Hays. BJ made a few appearances on WWE NXT and was a part of WWE LFG. In the first season of the A&E Network series, his storyline was built around the tension he had with his coach, Bubba Ray Dudley.
He came to WWE after being part of the Duke University collegiate wrestling team.
BJ announced on September 30 that he had suffered a torn rotator cuff and labrum injury, for which he underwent successful surgery. Learn more about that here.
