Bret Hart discusses talent emulating his style.

Bret Hart is known as ‘The Excellence of Execution’ for a reason, and has gone down in wrestling history as one of the best wrestlers to work in the industry. For that reason, many wrestlers over the years have found themselves emulating Hart, sometimes even without realizing it. For Hart, he notices it the most for two talent that are at the top of WWE’s card.

While speaking to The Masked Man Show, Bret Hart spoke about talent emulating his in ring style, including Cody Rhodes throwing punches in the same manner he did.

“I notice Cody Rhodes throws a punch a lot like I did. I remember telling him 15 years ago, ‘You throw a really good punch. I love your punches. You’re one of the only guys that throws a good punch.’ Roman Reigns is a guy that, when I watch him, he emulates a lot of my style and you might not notice it. Of course Punk and different guys. I always take it as a salute when they do one of my moves or a spot that I did 20 years ago. I take those as a compliment.”

Elsewhere in the same interview, Hart spoke about what he recently told Gunther about his style. You can read more about that here.
