Brett Lauderdale Gives An Update On Nick Gage And His Remarkable Turnaround
On October 22, GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale revealed that Nick Gage had been in treatment for several weeks and would be there indefinitely.
On December 28, Lauderdale gave an update on Gage, posting new photos showing how Gage has changed, for the better, physically.
Lauderdale wrote, “On oct 1st, this guy was face to face with death
in less than 3 months, the turnaround is shocking & remarkable
this is what it looks like when you break free from decades of addiction and *finally* start believing in yourself
the king is back and i couldn’t be more proud MDK”

Nick Gage returned to GCW at GCW Homecoming in August. He last wrestled in September at Focus Pro My Friends Over You.
In October 2024, Gage confirmed he went to rehab during the year after missing GCW Homecoming 2024.
