Brian Cage Says He’ll Be Bringing ‘Body Guy Championship’ To AEW Every Week

Brian Cage plans to bring the title with him every week.
A new interview with Brian Cage was rolled out by Chris Van Vliet. Cage spoke about the Body Guy Championship that he’s trying to introduce.
He won the Mr. Nevada State bodybuilding competition, and instead of bringing the trophy and the medal, he brought the Body Guy Title with him to AEW and said he’ll be bringing it every week.
“So, the idea behind this thing — I actually got this made (at the) beginning of last year. So what I wanted to do was take it on the indies, get it over first and then bring it to AEW. The idea was I would defend the Body Guy Title but the catch is you have to be a body guy to get a shot at the title and that was kind of my jab at everyone, because then no one would actually ever get a shot at the title, because you’re not a body guy. So that was kind of the loose end. I just thought it was a great idea and (it looks) cool and I never got to do anything and I tore my knee so it just kind of sat there. Then, after winning the bodybuilding show, I was like, you know what? This is the perfect time to bring it back. Instead of bringing the overall trophy with the medal, I’ll just bring the freaking title to represent the overall trophy and then we’ll just start to incorporate that. So, I had it backstage with me during the segment, and on Dynamite this past Wednesday, and I will be bringing it every week, and we will go from there.”
Cage returned to in-ring action in April after having been out since March 2025.
