Brian Cage wishes he and Lance Archer had gotten a match with The Hurt Syndicate.
Brian Cage is currently recovering from injury but prior, he was part of The Don Callis Family alongside Lance Archer, in a tag team that was starting to garner momentum and fan attention.
While speaking to Simon Miller of WhatCulture, Brian Cage was asked about his run with AEW prior to his injury, stating he wanted to face off with The Hurt Syndicate alongside Lance Archer.
"Yeah, I love, on a personal level too, I love Don Callis. I was glad to be back with him. Me and Lance, you know, we've been, Lance actually has been wanting to team up with me since 2021, and now we finally got a little team going. We had a decent little momentum, and I wish we would have got to work the Hurt Syndicate. Obviously that didn't happen, and now it's not going to happen with the knee injury. But yeah, and we had, his history with Shelton from New Japan. I'm undefeated against Lashley from Impact, so I was ready to bust up my own Steiner math."
Elsewhere in another interview, Lance Archer spoke about the similarities between he and Cage's time in All Elite Wrestling. You can read more about that here.
