Brian Myers says that it ‘doesn’t matter’ if The Righteous or The Hardy’s walk into TNA Rebellion as TNA Tag Team Champions.
At TNA Rebellion, The System’s Brian Myers and Bear Bronson are set to challenge for the TNA Tag Team Championships. However, before they can get to that, The Hardy’s are set to defend their titles against The Righteous on Thursday’s edition of TNA iMPACT!
While speaking to Reel Appreciation in a new interview, Brian Myers noted that it ‘doesn’t matter’ who walks into Rebellion as tag team champions.
“It doesn’t matter, because I think Bear and I will tell you this. We’re hoping they tear each other’s heads off. Who cares? No matter what. They’re 48 hours removed from a dangerous tables match, and then they have to face the most dangerous, hungry tag team in all professional wrestling Saturday night on pay-per-view. So whatever team it is, they’re screwed. Me personally, I hope it’s the Hardys just because of who they are and their status and their legendary run in professional wrestling, and I think it would be a beautiful thing on Saturday night, whoever’s got to update my Wikipedia page and write, you know, four-time TNA Tag Team Champion, Brian Myers, that would be a really wonderful thing.”
Fightful recently interviewed Bear Bronson, which you can read more about that here.
