Brie Bella Reflects On WWE Return At Royal Rumble: “I Didn’t Know If Anyone Was Gonna Remember Me”
The Bellas have their sights set on tag team gold.
The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella) are back in the fold of WWE and are aiming to become Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Brie Bella returned to in-ring competition as part of the 2026 women’s Royal Rumble match after having been away from the ring since 2022. The Bellas appeared on Good Morning America and spoke about their reunion in WWE.
Brie: “Oh my gosh, it was surreal. It was such an incredible feeling, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t know if anyone was gonna remember me. So when I came out and the crowd was so loud and crazy, it was overwhelming and literally, I’m still on cloud nine.”
Nikki: “She got the biggest pop of the night.”
Following up on that, Brie was asked why now was the time to return, and she said the following:
“I just feel like this was the perfect time for The Bella Twins. The women’s division is on fire. It’s the best I’ve ever seen it, and I’m just like, ‘I can’t sit at home anymore and be watching like a fan.’ I’m like, ‘I gotta get in.’”
The Bella Twins had an in-ring promo segment on the 2/2 Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
