Brie Bella provides a bit of insight into the mind of D.B.
"The New" Daniel Bryan is the reigning WWE Champion and since capturing the title one week before the 2018 Survivor Series pay-per-view, Bryan has been dubbed "The New" Daniel Bryan because he has eliminated the "Yes" chant and gave up on pleasing the fans. It is well known that Bryan is an environmentalist and is an advocate for making the earth a healthier place and he speaks about those topics on and off screen.
On the January 8th episode of SmackDown, Bryan took a trip to the the concession stand area of the 'Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena' and ranted about how certain foods that were being served caused people to destroy their bodies and in-turn those people destroy the earth.
Daniel Bryan's wife, former WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella commented on Bryan's new attitude during an interview with 'Metro'. Brie stated that everything Bryan says comes from how he truly thinks and now he has the chance to unleash it on the WWE Universe.
"On Total Divas and Total Bellas, we?ve seen how he?s such a crazy environmentalist. He tried to get us to put composting toilets throughout our house, which I almost gave in to. We recycle all our water, like, it goes out to our garden. So when I?m watching [WWE], I?m like, that?s really my husband. All this stuff that?s been stuck in his head, he?s been letting it all out." Brie Bella continued: ?It?s stuff that really bothers him ? like, all the posters each week, in his head he?s calculating all the trees that have been killed, and with all the merchandise, he?s like, 'We?re forcing people to be consumers, why are we forcing them to spend money?' He?s wild. It?s my favorite thing to watch.?"
