The Briscoes Win ROH Tag Team Titles In Bloody Double Dog Collar Match At ROH Final Battle 2022

The Briscoes finally conquer FTR.

The Briscoes (Mark & Jay Briscoe) won the ROH Tag Team Titles in a double dog collar match at ROH Final Battle, defeating FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) in a bloody affair.

Even referee Mike Posey got busted open due to an errant chain shot by Dax after Jay pulled the referee in the way.

The finish saw Jay hit a superplex onto a sea of chairs in the ring on Dax. After a kickout, Jay wrapped the chain around the face and mouth of Dax, pulling back and forcing the referee to stop the bout as Dax passed out. Cash attempted to get in the ring, but was held back by Mark.

After the match, The Gunn Club (Austin & Colten Gunn) attacked FTR. The Briscoes made the save and the two teams embraced.

This marks the thirteenth reign as ROH Tag Team Champions for The Briscoes.

FTR won the ROH Tag Team Championships at ROH Supercard of Honor when they defeated The Briscoes. In the second bout between the two teams, FTR won a two-out-of-three falls match, two falls to one, at ROH Death Before Dishonor. FTR made six successful defenses of the ROH Tag Team Championships. FTR are still the AAA and IWGP Tag Team Champions.

This was the first double dog collar match in ROH history.
