British Indy Promotion Turned Down By CM Punk, Gets Rob Van Dam Instead

5 Star Wrestling, the British Independent Promotion who famously offered CM Punk $1 million to compete in a 128-man Tournament only to have their offer rejected, has announced a replacement of sorts: Rob Van Dam.

The former WWE and ECW Champion joins other former WWE talents like John Morrison, Carlito and Chris Masters. Morrison, who is the Lucha Underground Champion, is also the current 5 Star Wrestling Champion.

The tournament begins on June 10 and does not end until December 30. That's what happens when you have 128 men in a tournament. It tends to take a while.
