Britt Baker Reveals Broken Wrist, Says She's Not Taking Any Time Off

AEW's Women's World Champion suffered an injury during her most recent title defence.

On the July 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, Dr. Britt Baker successfully defended her title against Nyla Rose. Unfortunately for Britt, she didn't escape the match unscathed.

In a new post on Twitter, Baker, posing with Paige VanZant, revealed that she broke her right wrist. Not to be deterred, however, the Champion says that she will not be taking any time off.

Baker won the belt at Double or Nothing 2021, defeating Hikaru Shida to capture the title for the first time.

In May 2020, Britt was forced out of action with an interior tibia fracture, a partial lateral collateral ligament tear, and a small degree of a popliteus tendon tear. She wouldn't return to the ring until September, but only had four matches for the remainder of the year.

Fightful will keep you updated should any additional details on Baker's condition become available.
