Appearing on Busted Open Radio, AEW's Dr. Britt Baker was asked what she does in her spare time. Unprovoked, she took the opportunity to share her thoughts on Star Wars. Here is what she said:

"Well, I don't sit around watching all 30 episodes of Star Wars, that's for sure. I'm so sick of it. My good buddy, Tony Schiavone and I, we don't agree with this, we don't get along about this, but I just can't for the life of me figure out how people can get into it. I literally tried and I fell asleep within 5 minutes. I can't get into it."

Dave LaGreca then commented that what he dislikes most is how some fans take their love of the property beyond subjective entertainment and get offended if you're not also an enthusiast. Baker calls it an illness, but as a licenced physician refuses to ignore her calling and wants to treat those afflicted individuals.

"This Star Wars stuff is an illness. I don't get it. I want to understand it because I want to help these people. I'm a physician. I want to know what I can do to help these people, but I can't figure it out. We gotta have more extensive research done about what's going on in the minds of these Star Wars freaks, really."

Mark Henry made the point about it being fantasy and escapism, which prompted Britt to share a story about what almost happened when Tony Schiavone explained why he thinks Star Wars is great.

"You know what Tony Schiavone told me, he said it perfectly explains the human soul and I almost smacked him across the face. I said listen to yourself, listen to yourself, Tony, oh my God, I can't believe it."

Baker defeated Thunder Rosa on the February 3, 2021, episode of AEW Dynamite. Next, she will be competing in the upcoming Women's Championship Eliminator Tournament with the goal of taking the title from reigning champion, Hikaru Shida.

WWE Superstar Sasha Banks appeared in Season Two of the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian. She portrayed Koska Reeves, a member of the Nite Owls alongside Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan.
