Britt Baker reflects on "The Waiting Room" with Cody Rhodes.
During the pandemic, and despite an injury, Britt Baker remained a focal point of AEW television by hosting "The Waiting Room" with various guests in the world of AEW. "The Waiting Room" played host to the break up between Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela, and other table setting moments for feuds in AEW.
Speaking to DS Shin on Ring The Belle, Baker recalled her favorite Waiting Room moments.
"Sonny Kiss. Joey Janela was great. The Acclaimed was great. Cody [Cody Rhodes] was great. Cody, we always used to rib Cody about his pyro. It was a lot. It was a lot. We said, 'Oh, we have to make sure Cody has pyro coming into the Waiting Room.' So we had sparklers, like Fourth of July sparklers, when he walked in the door as a rib. We still laugh about it," she said.
Cody not only had a lot of pyro for his entrance, he had his own entrance, using the Codyvator instead of either of the tunnels.
