Britt Baker Would Love To See AJ Lee Return, Names Charlotte Flair And Sasha Banks As Dream Matches

Britt Baker has plenty of dream matches in mind.

Baker is at the top of the AEW women's division as the reigning AEW Women's Champion and is welcome to any and all challengers.

Appearing at Planet Comicon, Baker was asked about possible dream opponents.

"Women's wrestling is on fire right now, it's the hottest it's ever been, so I'm gonna go for right now and do some cross-promotional stuff. I get tagged the most as a dream match for fans is Charlotte Flair. That's definitely who I get tagged the most (in posts). Someone who I am a massive fan of and who I would love to wrestle, Charlotte, and also Sasha Banks. There are so many talented women all over the place. Women's wrestling to infinity and beyond. It's going to keep growing and we're going to keep taking over and showing the boys what is up," she said.

Charlotte is the reigning WWE Raw Women's Champion while Banks was schedule to challenge for the SmackDown Women's Title at WWE SummerSlam, but was unable to compete.

With CM Punk returning to wrestling and joining AEW, fans have wondered about the status of Punk's wife AJ Lee.

Speaking about AJ, Baker said, "I would love it. I was a big AJ Lee fan. One of the first moves I asked my trainer to teach me was her finisher, The Black Widow. That would be really cool. It's giving the fans what they want. The fans, to see (AJ Lee and CM Punk) in a wrestling ring again in 2021, let alone in not WWE, that is evolutionary. It would be such a moment. For the moment alone, I would love to see her back in the ring. I would love to see her in the ring with me. Speaking of her, I know we don't really do mixed tags, but I can think of a mixed tag that I would like to see involving her, (CM Punk), me, and somebody else."

AJ hasn't wrestled since 2015 and it is unknown if she will ever return to the ring.

Baker is set to appear on Wednesday's Dynamite as she corners Jamie Hayter for her bout against Red Velvet. Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
