Brock Lesnar Becomes A Two-Time Universal Champion At WWE Crown Jewel By Defeating Braun Strowman

Lesnar is back on top of the mountain.

Former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns made a heartbreaking announcement last month that because of his Leukemia coming back after being in remission for eleven years, he would have to step way from the land of sports-entertainment to go fight the disease once again. In wake of that news, the once Triple-Threat match at WWE Crown Jewel between Reigns, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar was converted into a singles match between Strowman and Lesnar.

The two beasts have gone to war in the past over the WWE Universal Championship at last year's 'No Mercy' pay-per-view and they were also in the same Universal Title match at this year's Royal Rumble PPV. This time around was no different as Brock and Braun both wanted to destroy each other to become Universal Champion.

"Acting General Manager" of RAW Baron Corbin appeared to be presenting the title to both men but he soon made his intentions clear and attacked Braun Strowman from behind. This lead to Lesnar immediately taking the advantage and after a series of F5's and a dominating performance that saw Braun Strowman barely get any offense in, Brock Lesnar pinned "The Monster Among Men" to become the first-ever two-time WWE Universal Champion.
