Brock Lesnar Expected To Be In Chicago Ahead Of 9/5 WWE SmackDown
Brock Lesnar may be returning to WWE programming soon, according to new information available on Fightful Select.
A major WWE star is expected to be in Chicago and very well could be on what looks to be a huge Smackdown.
Fightful Select has learned that Brock Lesnar has been scheduled to travel to Chicago this week. Friday’s episode of Smackdown emanates from Chicago.
Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at SummerSlam, attacking John Cena at the end of the event. He hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in the month since SummerSlam. The return sparked a lot of controversy, with many fans discussing Lesnar being involved in Janel Grant’s sexual misconduct lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE in 2024.

A recent report suggested that the September 5 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown could be John Cena’s final appearance on the iconic WWE show. Lesnar, however, is advertised to appear on the September 12 and September 19 episodes. Learn more here.
