Brock Lesnar Set To Appear On 9/10 WWE SmackDown At Madison Square Garden

The Beast is back on SmackDown! Well, almost.

After over a year away from WWE, Brock Lesnar returned at last month's SummerSlam, confronting Roman Reigns after his match with John Cena. Lesnar hadn't been seen since WrestleMania 36 when he lost to Drew McIntyre.

At SummerSlam, Reigns slinked away before anything could happen, but Lesnar's longtime advocate, Paul Heyman, seem shocked to see his client and his boss face to face. On the September 3 episode of SmackDown, Heyman received a call from Lesnar during an interview with Kayla Braxton. Heyman then told Roman about the call, but The Tribal Chief seemed unconcerned, saying he'd smash Brock just like everyone else.

Paul then shared that Brock would be at SmackDown next week in Madison Square Garden. Roman questioned where Lesnar was, becoming worried that he might be in the building tonight and not in Saskatchewan where Heyman believes him to be.

Roman Reigns defends his Universal Title later tonight against Finn Balor.
