Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton Rematch Set For House Show

Well, it looks like Randy Orton will have his chance to exact revenge on Brock Lesnar, but only few will see it.

Chicago's AllState Arena announced on Monday that a SummerSlam rematch between former UFC, WWE, NCAA and IWGP Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will take place Saturday, September 24. The event is set to be a WWE live event, just one day before Raw's Clash of Champions PPV.

Orton likely won't be on the Clash of Champions PPV, as he's a Smackdown talent, and Lesnar hasn't appeared on WWE TV since Summerslam. The two had a match that ended controversially when Lesnar repeatedly elbowed Orton in the head, splitting him open and causing a pool of blood to form. The match was ended by TKO.

The controversy didn't end there, as a fight between Lesnar and Chris Jericho broke out just behind the backstage curtain after the match.

Also advertised for WWE's 9/24 live event in Chicago are Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, New Day, Jericho, Enzo & Cass and several others.
