Brodie Lee's Agent Had Brodie's Contract Amount End In $93 To Honor Doug Gilmour

Jon Huber's agent wanted to pop his client with his AEW contract.

On top of being one of the most beloved wrestlers to ever grace the ring, Jon Huber (Brodie Lee in AEW) was a big-time hockey fan. Huber cheered for the Toronto Maple Leafs, which meant he endured much heartbreak during his fandom.

Huber made sure his hockey fandom was known as a member of the Dark Order, naming Anna Jay "99" as a nod to Wayne Gretzky. His agent made sure his hockey fandom was known in his contract with AEW.

Speaking on Talk Is Jericho, AEW Vice President of Business Strategy Chris Harrington, a long-time friend of Huber's, revealed how Jon's agent worked in a Doug Gilmour reference to Huber's contract.

"I'll give credit to his agent, Jordan. He goes, 'We have a deal, let's do the deal. I have one condition. I need the dollar amount to end in $93 because that was Doug's number.' Jon's email had the number, his AIM name had the number. To me, it was very full circle. His agent was like, 'That will pop him,'" recalled Harrington.

Following Huber's passing on December 26, Doug Gilmour took to social media to pay tribute to him, revealing that had connected on social media and had chats together.

Big E gave a shoutout to Huber's love of the Maple Leafs during a backstage promo on SmackDown. You can view how everyone on SmackDown paid tribute to Huber by clicking here.
