Brodie Lee Tribute Show Announced For 12/30 AEW Dynamite

AEW is set to honor Brodie Lee (real name Jon Huber) on Wednesday's Dynamite.

AEW President Tony Khan announced that AEW Dynamite will serve as a tribute to Brodie Lee, who tragically passed away on December 26 after battling a non-COVID lung illness.

The show will include tributes and matches dedicated to 'The Exalted One' Brodie Lee.

The following matches were announced:

* Cody Rhodes, Orange Cassidy & 10 vs. Team Taz
* Young Bucks & Colt Cabana vs. Matt Hardy & Private Party
* Hangman, John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs. MJF, Santana & Ortiz
* Anna Jay & Tay Conti vs. Dr. Britt Baker & Penelope Ford
* Lance Archer, Evil Uno & Grayson v. Eddie Kingston, Butcher & Blade

The original December 30 was set as New Year's Smash Night One with the headlining bout of Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Title against Rey Fenix. Hikaru Shida was also set to defend the AEW Women's Championship against Abadon.

New Year's Smash Night One is now set for January 6 while Night Two will take place on January 13.

Fightful will provide live coverage of AEW Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
