Bron Breakker And Carmelo Hayes Coexist, Hank Walker Is Ready To Evolve | NXT Fight Size

Here's your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on March 21, 2023.

- Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) opened the show and noted that they were getting rid of the footage of Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) cheating to beat them last week. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams interrupted, with Williams saying they didn't want Pretty Deadly's mojo to rub off on Hayes. Pretty Deadly took it as a challenge to a match, and Williams agreed to the bout, but he named Bron Breakker as Hayes' opponent. Breakker made the save when Pretty Deadly took the fight to Pretty Deadly. In the main event, Breakker and Hayes defeated the former tag team champions.

- A video package highlighted Hank Walker's journey in NXT. He made it clear that he will work hard to prove his doubters wrong. Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey seemingly dismissed his message, as Walker said Walker wouldn't be more than a nice guy.

- Javier Bernal came to the ring to Johnny Gargano's music and stated that "Johnny Wrestling" took his spot at NXT Stand & Deliver. The real Gargano came out and took the fight to Bernal. He then pulled out a contract and stated that he wanted to make his bout with Waller at NXT Stand & Deliver an Unsanctioned Match. Waller appeared on the video screen and said he would sign the contract next week, but only if Gargano agreed to be banned from the building.

- Gallus drank and played some pool at a bar. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) showed up and played pool with them. They also faced off in a game of darts. The two teams agreed to face off at NXT Stand & Deliver. Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo showed up and made it clear that they wanted to discuss some business. Later in the show, Gallus agreed to put the titles on the line against both teams at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- NXT North American Champion Wes Lee came to the ring and looked forward to NXT Stand & Deliver. He discussed what being the champion means to him. Dragon Lee confronted him and stated that he loves the chaos. He said he wants to be part of the open challenge. Lee agreed to give him the first spot. JD McDonagh interrupted and said that Lee wouldn't have the title if he set his sights on the title. Ilja Dragunov joined the fray to kick-start his mach with McDonagh. During the bout, McDonagh took a cheap shot at Lee, sparking a brawl between the three men. Wes Lee got involved and later announced that McDonagh and Dragunov would get two of the spots in the title match at NXT Stand & Deliver.

- Tiffany Stratton defeated Indi Hartwell in a NXT Women's Championship qualifying match.

- Ivy Nile discussed Tatum Paxley's betrayal. She then faced Lyra Valkyria in another qualifying match at NXT Stand & Deliver, and Valkyria emerged victorious.

- NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez tweeted that she still doesn't know when she will be able to return.

- In an interview, Gigi Dolin vowed to win the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver. Tiffany Stratton interrupted and made it clear that everyone else in the match is screwed because the title belongs to her.

- A video package hyped the looming debut of Eddy Thorpe.

- Fallon Henley and Kiana James argued over James' date with Sebastian, given her relationship with Brooks Jensen. Later in the show, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn attacked Henley backstage, but James made the save. James asked Henley not to tell Jensen so she could let him know herself.

- Prospective contenders, including Dijak and Jinder Mahal, made it clear that that had their sights set on the NXT North American Championship.

- Zoey Stark rubbed Indi Hartwell's loss in by telling her that she wouldn't be the next NXT Women's Champion following her loss; Hartwell was already frustrated, as she was throwing stuff around backstage.

- Chase U (Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, Thea Hail & Tyler Bate) and The Schism (Joe Gacy, Jagger Reid, Rip Fowler & Ava) faced off in The Great Debate. Duke Hudson nearly lost it for his team, but Thea Hail delivered an impressive performance. Schism declined a challenge to a match, but Hudson upped the ante by putting control of Chase U on the line. Schism accepted, and the match was announced for NXT Stand & Deliver.

- In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Lyra Valkyria vowed to win the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver.
