Speaking with Give Me Sport, Bronson Reed discusses first meeting Rhea Ripley when she was a teenage fan and how proud he is to see her rise through the ranks.

"I think the absolute world of Rhea Ripley, she's an incredible talent, [and] one in a million," he said. "I, fortunately, have been able to see her career even from before coming to WWE because we're both from the same hometown, Adelaide."

He continued, "So maybe five, six years into my journey as a local wrestler, she used to be a fan that used to come out and actually watch me. I remember getting to see Rhea Ripley as a young teenage fan in the crowd, to then starting the business and excelling really quickly, like even just on the local stage."

Now, both Ripley and Reed carry championship gold with Bronson defeating Johnny Gargano on the most recent episode of NXT to capture the NXT North American Championship. Learn more here.

Rhea Ripley continues to struggle with both Charlotte Flair and Asuka. The next chapter in her championship journey will be on the next episode of Monday Night Raw.

Fightful will have live coverage of WWE Raw beginning Monday at 8 p.m. eastern time.
