Bronson Reed: My Mobility In My Right Foot Will Never Be 100% Again, My New 100% Is 75%

Bronson Reed provides an update on the foot injury he suffered at last year's Survivor Series.

Bronson Reed talks about his foot injury from Survivor Series: War Games last year.

During the men’s War Games match at last year’s Survivor Series, Bronson Reed would take a terrifying bump as he attempted to Tsunami Roman Reigns through a table from off the top of the cage. However, CM Punk would pull Reigns out of the way, leaving Reed to explode through the table. Later, it would be revealed that Reed suffered a serious foot injury due to the spot.

While speaking on the latest episode of the RAW Recap podcast, Reed was asked about the injury he suffered last year, and Bronson would speak about his recovery.

“I mean, so I broke my talus bone completely in half. It separated and went apart, and so that’s a very hard injury to come back from. I had my foot up like this for three months. My leg atrophied. I had to build all my muscle back up in this right leg, had to learn to walk again on this right leg, then learn to run, then learn to jump, and then eventually get in a ring and do everything that we do in the ring. The crazy part about it is, everyday life, walking around, running, doing those things, it’s painful. But when I get in that ring, I forget it. For some reason, the doctors notice that, when I’m in the ring, I can do anything. So wrestling is what brought me back from the injury. But I’m still in pain every day, but I’m working through it. It is what it is.”

Bronson was then asked if it was an injury that would get better over time, with Reed noting that mobility in his right foot will never be 100% again.

“My mobility in this right foot will never be 100% again at all. My new 100% is 75% of normal mobility in your foot. But I get it done, that’s all that matters. I tape it up, I put my boots on, I go out there, I beat people up.”
