Bronson Reed Says He Has No Unfinished Business In NXT

Bronson Reed talks about how he ended up back in WWE and addresses whether or not he has any desire to return to NXT.

Before WWE released Bronson Reed in 2021, he was a staple of the WWE NXT brand. Now, he's back, but he is on the main roster. Speaking with Zak Ralph of Love Wrestling, Bronson clarified that what brought him back to the WWE was unfinished business.

Taro Okada Explains Why He Felt Stardom Had To Dismiss Rossy Ogawa

“Unfinished business. You know, I think when I first left, I was North American Champion in NXT. It seemed like I was going to be able to be on a RAW or SmackDown and it didn't happen. Obviously, I did some great things. I was in Japan and I loved my time there. But there was always that in the back of my head that I needed to come back and see what it was like to be on a RAW or SmackDown and do things like these premium live events, WrestleMania so that's [what led to] the choice to come back.”

Bronson did clarify that he doesn't feel like he has any unfinished business left on the NXT side of things, as NXT no longer resembles what it did when he was a featured star there. From here on out, it's all about the main roster for Reed.

“Not so much in NXT. The only thing in NXT that I did want to eventually become was the NXT champion. That didn't happen. But I feel like it's a different world there, now. It became 2.0. Now it's its own iteration of NXT. So I feel like I'm not needed there. My goals now are on RAW and United States Champion and then hopefully even more than that.”

Unfortunately for Bronson, he did not win the WWE United States Championship at Elimination Chamber. Fans can check out the full results here.
