Bruce Prichard Recalls Altercation Between Vince McMahon & Nailz

In December 1992, Nailz was fired by Vince McMahon after an altercation where Nailz allegedly attacked McMahon over payment. According to reports, Nailz was in McMahon's office when he went after his boss over money he was owed, choking him before it was broken up.

Speaking on Something To Wrestling, Bruce Prichard recalled the incident.

Prichard began by noting that Nailz had called McMahon days before the incident wanting to talk. McMahon was on another phone call when Prichard, who answered Nailz' call, told him that he would tell Vince that he called.

Days later at television, Prichard bumped into Nailz.

"I remember walking in and he said, 'Hey Prichard, did you tell Vince I called?' I said, 'Yeah, he said he'll talk to you today.' That was the last I spoke to or ever saw Kevin Wacholz. Pat [Patterson] and I were at the ring doing something. We ran into Paul Bearer and he said, 'That's over' or something like that. 'The fight. Nailz and Vince.' We run back to Vince's office and is in there with [Sergeant] Slaughter and Arnold Skaaland and someone else. 'What the fuck happened?' They said they were talking and [Nailz] just lunged. Vince went ass over tea kettle and I guess Kevin was trying to choke him and everyone was in there and got him off right away. It wasn't a fight, at least from the witnesses that were there. It was pretty much; you heard voices raised, a crash, and everyone was in there. I don't think a punch was thrown. Vince, other than his tie was crooked, no harm no foul. He was more pissed off than anything," said Prichard.

Nailz called the police following the incident and filed a wrongful termination lawsuit where he alleged he was sexually assaulted by McMahon. WWE filed a countersuit and both suits were later dropped.
