In the middle of last year, R-Truth would make an announcement that he had been released from his contract with the company. While it would turn out to be that WWE were not planning on re-signing him when his deal at the time expired, it still sent shockwaves throughout the industry, and Truth would later be re-signed thanks to a swelling of crowd support in the wake of his announcement, and now we know when Truth was officially re-signed to the company.

While speaking during the second episode of WWE Unreal’s second season, Bruce Prichard noted that R-Truth’s deal was not done until the day of WWE Money In The Bank 2025.

“Not a lot of people knew, the deal wasn’t even done until the day of Money In The Bank. It was ‘well we can do this at the end of the show,’ because it was like ‘hey, this is a nice punctuation at the end of the night.'”

Elsewhere in the same episode of WWE: Unreal, Rhea Ripley spoke about how she was feeling after her first ladder match. You can read more about that here.
