Bruce Prichard On Shane McMahon Returning To WWE: The Recuperative Powers Of McMahon Genes Are Scary

Bruce Prichard says wrestling fans should never say never when it comes to the recuperative genes of a McMahon.

Shane McMahon made a surprise appearance at WWE WrestleMania 39 and was involved in an impromptu match against The Miz. Unfortunately, McMahon sustained a torn quad nearly immediately in the encounter. His injury ended up necessitating surgery.

Speaking on the most recent episode of his Something to Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard says that when it comes to the possibility of Shane O'Mac stepping back into the squared circle, fans should never say never as they are dealing with the genetics of a McMahon.

"You never say never, man. You never say never. The recuperative powers of those genes are scary, but you never say never. I mean, that's coming from somebody who said 'never,'" Bruce joked, referring to the early days of his podcast when he said he would likely never end up back in WWE. "I mean, I said 'never.' As a matter of fact, I said, 'Never ever. Impossible. Will not happen.' Yeah, it's crazy."

As a further example of why fans should never count out any possibilities concerning the McMahon Family, Shane McMahon was once away from WWE for seven years, before returning ahead of WrestleMania 32 in 2016. He was then a part of WWE on a regular basis for five years, even winning the Tag Team Championship with The Miz, the very man he was in the ring with when he tore his quad at this year's WrestleMania.

Shane McMahon's eldest son, Declan McMahon recently provided an update on his father's recovery. Fans can read those comments here.
