Bryan Danielson: Eddie Kingston Knows Beating Me Was A Fluke And That I'm Coming For Those Titles

Bryan Danielson does not respect Eddie Kingston.

During the Continental Classic, the big story in the Blue League was that of Eddie Kingston vs Bryan Danielson. Despite losing in the first encounter in the tournament, Kingston would avenge his loss over Danielson in the Blue League's final on his way to winning the tournament and the modern Triple Crown. On the January 20th edition of AEW Collison, Kingston teamed with Ortiz to take on Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli, with Ortiz losing the match for his team.

After the bout, Bryan would spit on Eddie, showing there was still no respect between the two men. In a backstage exclusive after the show, AEW cameras caught up with Danielson and Castagnoli, with Danielson being asked why he spat on Eddie, sending a message to the Continental Classic Champion in his response.

"Yeah. I suppose that is the real question. And here's the thing, Eddie might have won the Continental Classic. Eddie might have beaten me once. He was lucky, but that doesn't mean that I respect Eddie Kingston. I do not respect Eddie Kingston. You ask me why I spit in his face it is because I do not respect Eddie Kingston, and he knows that. And he knows that him beating me was a fluke and he knows that I'm coming for those titles."
