Adam Cole made his Dynamite debut on Wednesday and before he got into storytime, he made sure to threaten Tony Schiavone should he ever look at his girlfriend Britt Baker the wrong way.
Cole praised The Elite for building AEW and said that he might be new to the company, but he's been elite for a very long time. He continued by saying that now that he's in the mix, The Elite is complete.
Omega grabbed the mic and said he despises interruptions....leading to an interruption by Bryan Danielson.
Omega dismissed The Elite from the ring, inviting Danielson to join him one-on-one in the squared circle. Danielson snatched the mic from Omega and asked the crowd if they wanted to see him fight Omega, leading to a resounding "YES!" from the crowd.
Danielson went on to say Omega is afraid to take the match because he knows that Danielson is better, that he'll kick his head in, and that Omega is not on his level.
Omega tried to strike, but Danielson countered with the Yes Lock, leading to The Elite attacking. Christian Cage, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Kazarian, and Marko Stunt made the save for Danielson.
