Bryan Danielson: Ricky Starks Carried Me Through AEW All Out Match

Bryan Danielson has high praise for Ricky Starks.

Bryan Danielson returned to the ring at AEW All Out, competing in his first match since AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 25 when he suffered a broken arm. Danielson wasted no time getting back in form, competing in a strap match against Ricky Starks.

Speaking at the AEW All out media scrum, Danielson commented on the bout.

"I had an excellent opponent. Every time people see Ricky Starks, every time Ricky Starks gets an opportunity, he knocks it out of the park. I will be the first one to say, this is outside of our stories and what we do, he carried me through that match. I'm good at certain things. I'm good at a decent amount of things and I'm confident in saying that. I can fire up, I can do all these things, but we was the one who carried me through that match," said Danielson.

Danielson praised Starks for his fire and intensity in the match, and said there was some smoke and mirrors, which included him not throwing a strike with his previously broken arm.
