Bryan Danielson Says He May Have To Wear A Face Mask Or Eye Patch When He Wrestles

Bryan Danielson comments on his return to the ring.

Bryan Danielson has been sidelined since October 25 due to an orbital injury, which occurred on the October 21 episode of AEW Collision in a match against Andrade El Idolo. Bryan will return to the ring on the December 2 episode of AEW Collision when he faces Eddie Kingston as part of the AEW Continental Classic.

Danielson has been sporting an eye patch ahead of his return and he was asked on Maggie & Perloff if he would be wrestling with the eye patch on.

"I'm going to have to talk to the doctors. The benefit of wearing the eye patch is that, the bones are completely healed, but the benefit of wearing the eye patch is that, I still have a little bit of double division. If I take the eye patch off, I tend to get a little bit dizzy because of the motion of the eye. The eye patch stops me from getting dizzy. They may want me to wear a protective mask. We'll see. It may end up being face mask with eye patch on top of the face mask," he said.

Danielson noted that he was just cleared to fly on Monday. He was in attendance for AEW Dynamite, serving as a guest commentator.

Elsewhere during the interview, Danielson commented on being part of the disciplinary committee that decided CM Punk should be fired by AEW. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
