Bryan Danielson Is 'Scared' Of What Darby Allin Brings To Anarchy In The Arena But 'Excited' To See How Kazuchika Okada Adapts

Bryan Danielson previews Anarchy in the Arena.

Bryan Danielson is willing to risk his physical health and whatever is left of his full-time wrestling career to defend the spirit of AEW against the nefarious new version of The Elite (Jack Perry, Kazuchika Okada Jackson, Matthew, and Nicholas Jackson).

Another wrestler who can share those same sentiments is Darby Allin. Recovering from a broken foot and a broken nose, Allin was somehow given the green light to replace the injured Eddie Kingston alongside Danielson and FTR's Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood in Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Danielson previewed the bout and explained that he is a little nervous about what Allin will bring to the dance in Las Vegas.

“The wildness and anarchy in this match, it’s really awesome,” said Danielson, who has wrestled in the Anarchy in the Arena match the past two years at Double or Nothing. “You can be fighting out in the crowd with a world-class professional wrestler, like Okada. For as great as he is, we really don’t know what he’s like as a brawler. I kind of know what FTR will bring to the match, and I know what the Young Bucks will bring to the match. I’m not sure what Jack Perry will bring to the match. Honestly, I’m a little scared of what Darby is going to bring to the match. How about that flamethrower on Dynamite?

“I get really excited by not knowing how someone will react to a certain situation, and I’m really excited to see how Okada will react to this.”

In the past, Allin has spoken about a match against Danielson being a dream of his. Learn more here.
