Bryan Danielson speaks highly of Swerve Strickland.
On the October 10 episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson faced Swerve Strickland in a buzzworthy singles match. The bout marked the first time they faced each other, and Danielson scored the win to earn a shot at the AEW TNT Championship.
Speaking with Sports Nightly, Danielson shared his thoughts on facing Strickland.
"[October 10] was the first time I had ever been in the ring with Swerve and I’d watched him wrestling before and he’s that next level of great, you know what I mean? Seeing him is one thing, being in the ring with him is a completely different thing, but that dude is something special," Danielson said.
