Bryan Danielson, Tony Schiavone, And AEW Pay Tribute To Kerwin Silfies On AEW Dynamite

The wrestling world lost longtime WWE director Kerwin Silfies on Tuesday at the age of 75.
On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, AEW took time out of the broadcast to pay tribute to the late director. Tony Schiavone said that Kerwin was a great man and an even better director, saying he was calm under pressure. An emotional Bryan Danielson said Kerwin was very kind and patient. Danielson said he didn’t know anything about TV production when he got to WWE and Kerwin was so kind and helpful.

Silfies started with WWE in 1985 and was with the company until he was furloughed during the pandemic. He never returned to the company. He directed the first Saturday Night’s Main Event and first WWE show in Saudi Arabia and many more.
