The dream match will become a reality.
Bryan Danielson will take on Kenny Omega at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on September 22. The AEW World TItle will not be on the line as the match is not about titles, but is about who is the better wrestler.
Danielson has targeting Omega since joining AEW at All Out, wanting to kick his head in. Danielson has said that he's better than Omega and Omega knows it, which is why he refused to face him. After having his manhood questioned, Omega is no longer refusing to face Danielson.
Danielson and Omega previously wrestled at PWG One Hundred in 2009. It is the only other singles bout between the two men.
