Bubba Ray says Braun Strowman is what the people want.
Last week, Braun Strowman defeated 49 other wrestlers in the Greatest Royal Rumble match in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was awarded a special championship belt and trophy for his efforts. On Busted Open Radio, Bubba Ray Dudley said he liked what he saw at the end of that event.
"What a great experimental picture to paid. You know, there was no prize for the Royal Rumble victory but they made up this belt. Braun holding the belt over his head with the people popping. That was a hell of a picture, right?," said Dudley. "In a weird way, Braun is the next Daniel Bryan because he got over very organically. It's what the people want," he later added.
Dudley went on to say since things seem to not be going well with Roman Reigns, he expects WWE to "run" with Braun Strowman.
At WWE Backlash, Strowman and Bobby Lashley will take on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in a tag team match. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and discussion during the event and then a recapping podcast.
