Bubba Ray Dudley Says Why He Put Someone Through A Table At Hall Of Fame

Bubba Ray Dudley wanted to take advantage of what may have been his last chance to do something special.

Last week, Bubba Ray Dudley and Devon Dudley were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. During the speech their music came on as if they were being rushed off stage. A person appearing to be part of the staff came out to the podium and told The Dudley Boys to wrap up the speech. The two wrestlers then put that man through a table with a powerbomb. On Busted Open Radio, Bubba Ray Dudley explains why that happened.

"I figured if this is the last time you're going to see me and Devon together. I don't know. Devon works for WWE and I'm proud to be a member of the Ring of Honor roster...Just in case that was the last time, I wanted our last time to be memorable and you will never ever see anybody put through a table at the Hall of Fame again," said Dudley.

Also during the speech, the Dudleys invited their former TLC opponents on stage for one more bow. Dudley said he wanted to be with those men one more time on stage.

"Sometimes, the wrestling business can be selfish. Me and Devon have always prided ourselves on being able to share the spotlight together and never be selfish. Me, Devon, Edge, Christian, Matt, and Jeff have not been in the same place at the same time since TLC 2 in the Houston Astrodome. We wanted our brothers that we made history with up together," said Dudley.

The "TLC 2" match Dudley referred to was at WrestleMania 17 where Edge and Christian defeated The Hardy Boys and The Dudley Boys to become WWE Tag Team Champions.
