Buddy Murphy Feels That He Has Yet To Reach His Maximum Potential

Buddy Murphy knows he has more to offer.

The self-proclaimed "Best Kept Secret" Buddy Murphy is looking to no longer be known as a secret as he is a part of the SmackDown Live roster. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was moved to SmackDown via the Superstar Shake-Up. Although he is on the main roster, Murphy has yet to appear on the blue brand show outside of a segment that aired while the show was on commercial break.

Murphy is set to return to his come country of Australia this coming October for a weekend of live events. Buddy Murphy has had matches in NXT and 205 Live over the past year that fans have raved about consistently but Murphy knows he has yet to reach his maximum potential. 'Newshub' interviewed Buddy Murphy to promote those aforementioned live events and he said from the first day he laced up a pair of boots, he gave 100 percent effort.

"I think my entire wrestling career, from starting out at wrestling school to wrestling my mates on mattresses in the backyard, I always put 110 percent into it," Murphy said. "I always had that love for it, and I was always passionate about the athleticism and performance side of the business. All of that, plus what I have achieved in the last decade, that has molded me into the performer I am today, but I don't expect to be the same performer in five years time. I want to expand and I want to always be at my best. I am only 30-years-old and I feel like I am not even at my peak yet. I still have a lot to learn, and only bigger and better things will happen for me."

Former 205 Live stars Ali and Cedric Alexander are on the main roster as well and they are allowed to compete on either RAW or SmackDown by way of the Wild Card rule that is in effect.
