Buddy Murphy Is Ready To Break Free From 'Lockdown' After '8 Years And 90 Days' In New Vignette

Buddy Murphy doesn't want to be a secret anymore.

Buddy Murphy was one of the many names released by WWE in 2021 and in a new vignette he's released on social media, he is ready to break free from “lockdown.”

The video shows Josiah Williams, another talent released by WWE this year, portraying a doctor looking over these captive “patients” leading a photographer to see “him.” Williams would explain that he is kept outside at all times even in the rain, this person doesn't play well with others, and they have housed a lot of people within that facility including “the devil himself.”

Buddy Murphy could be seen in this vignette wearing a white jumpsuit with the tag of “BKS88.” Josiah Williams would say that he has been in captivity for 8 years and an additional 90 days, a reference to WWE's no-compete clause for main roster talent. In WWE, Murphy called himself “The Best Kept Secret” and he was born in 1988.

The vignette, which was spread across two tweets, would end with the photographer saying he is here to release Murphy, before ending with a “to be continued” tease.

Currently, Murphy is scheduled to wrestle AEW star Brian Cage at an upcoming independent event. Learn more here.
