Cain Velasquez Calls Working With Brock Lesnar In WWE 'Professional And A Little Uncomfortable'

Cain Velasquez has not been back in a WWE ring since Performing at a live event in Mexico alongside Rey Mysterio in 2019. In a major capacity, Cain Velasquez's only WWE match on pay-per-view was his WWE Championship match against Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel 2019.

A short affair that ended in less than 5 minutes, Brock Lesnar was able to defeat his former UFC rival and now, Velasquez is looking back on that match.

During an appearance on the K100 podcast with Konnan, Velasquez said working with Lesnar in WWE was professional albeit a little uncomfortable.

"[Working with Brock was] professional and I would say it was a little uncomfortable. I guess you know, I'm just so new to the wrestling world and everyone that I've worked with has been amazing as far as, like you said, we take care of everybody we do really like try to put in some good things in there where everyone gets what they want out of it and making it just for the fans. Working with Brock was interesting, man, that's all I'm gonna say. It was very different. Again, you try to just learn from your life, you know, and like, 'Okay, this is what this was. I know for next time,' if something else ever happens for next time."

Elsewhere on this podcast, Cain Velasquez spoke about wanting to work with Daniel Cormier in AAA Lucha Libre. Read more here.
