Neither the name of the event nor Cain Velasquez’s match has been announced but, AAA made this announcement at the end of Heroes Inmortales XIV.

Cain Velasquez had previously worked for AAA at a Triplemania event in 2019 before signing with WWE in the Fall of 2019 and competing against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel for the WWE Championship.

Velasquez would lose that match in quick fashion and that would be his only WWE televised match as he was released by WWE quietly at the start of the global pandemic in 2020.

Velasquez had previously confirmed his return to AAA during a July appearance on In This Corner with Cyrus Fees

“I'm doing a show in December for AAA. I love AAA and I'm going to keep doing that right now. I love WWE as well, but I have to first develop myself in order for me to go out there. I'm going to keep doing stuff and have fun with it."
