Cam Skattebo Defends WWE Raw Appearance, Getting Physical Despite Injury

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo was in attendance for the November 17, 2025 episode of WWE Raw, getting involved in the action during a commercial break.

Skattebo was confronted by Judgment Day members Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh, leading to a skirmish between Skattebo, comedian Andrew Schultz, and other members of the New York Giants.

A number of fans were upset over Skattebo’s appearance and the physical nature of the segment as Skattebo suffered an ankle injury on October 26 that would keep him out for the rest of the season.

Speaking to Rich Eisen on the Rich Eisen Show, Skattebo defended his appearance.

“I got some plates and screws in there. At that point, it’s already screwed in and plates are on, so I felt like I was okay to do whatever I wanted to. It’s not like it was going to break. I was behind the wall, having a good time with my boys, teammates were out there backing me. If something really broke down, I knew I had my boys behind me,” said Skattebo.

Skattebo is expected to make a full recovery and be in the lineup when the Giants open the 2026 season.
