'Canalta Centre' GM Is Disappointed That WWE Live Event In Canada Next Month Has Been Cancelled

WWE Live event in Canada next month has been cancelled.

In early February the WWE main roster crew is set for a string of live events in Canada. One of those live events was scheduled to take place at the 'Canalta Centre' in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. That show has been cancelled according to 'Chat News Today' and 'Canalta Centre' General Manager Tammy Sweeney commented on the news and stated that staff and fans were disappointed to hear about the cancellation.

“People were excited, there was a buzz, so we were incredibly disappointed to get that news." She said. "We had sold about 1,200 tickets, plus some suites as well, so 1,400 or so overall."

The announcement of the cancellation came from WWE's tour management and their reason for cancelling was because of a routing issue.

The date of the aforementioned live event was not mentioned in the article and the city is not listed on WWE.com. Also, a house show in Tucson, Arizona on January 28th following the Royal Rumble pay-per-view has been cancelled as well according to PWInsider.
