Candice LeRae Advances In WWE Speed Women’s Title Number One Contenders Tournament

Candice LeRae is moving on in the WWE Speed Women’s Title number one contender’s tournament.

LeRae defeated Xia Brookside in her first round matchup. The finish saw Candice hit a springboard moonsault for the victory.

The winner of the tournament will challenge Sol Ruca for the WWE Speed Championship at NXT No Mercy.

LeRae will face the winner of Faby Apache vs. Lainey Reid, which takes place on next Tuesday’s WWE NXT.

It was announced at NXT Heatwave that the WWE Speed Championships would be defended on NXT moving forward.

Speed matches have a three-minute time limit, but title matches have a five-minute time limit. Speed match previously aired exclusively on X/Twitter, but stopped on July 9th. The program debuted in April 2024.
