Carlie Bravo Defends ROH, Says It Has ‘More Killers’ Than AEW
Carlie Bravo sticks up for Ring Of Honor.
Competing alongside Shane Taylor Promotions, Carlie Bravo has been a essential part of the promotion since 2023. Pushing back against the online criticism, Bravo recently spoke with Wrestling Republic and said that ROH has more killers than AEW does.
“I love Ring Of Honor. I love Ring Of Honor. We all see the bullshit sometimes, the negative bullshit that gets spoken about it. But, I think Ring Of Honor got more killers than AEW does and in a sense of hungry. People are hungry. You can’t tell me Red Velvet not hungry, you know what I’m saying? You can’t tell me Dalton Castle & The Outrunners not fucking hungry. Swirl, Infantry, STP, we got people on there that are freaking monsters that are waiting at the gym to go freaking crazy. Adam Priest, you got people that are just waiting to get a moment to go. I think that hunger pushes a lot. We take a lot of pride in Ring Of Honor, you know what I’m saying? We went from one Death Before Dishonor, we had the titles the whole time, then we the lost the belts at the next one. I love that, you know what I’m saying? I love that we can give back to that company like that and make it not just what it was but what it could possibly be.”
Bravo continued by putting over more names on the ROH roster.
“At the last ROH taping, it was AR Fox versus Bandido. Like, what are we talking about? That’s a main event anywhere. I saw Hechicero and Bandido and it blew my freaking mind. Konosuke Takeshita and Bandido blew my mind. We had the last couple television champions, Nick Wayne, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, we got killers. I mentioned the tag team belts, we got Mistico and Mascara Dorada as the tag champs. Before that, me, Cap, and Shane was the Trios Champions. Then, Dalton and The Outrunners was doing it. Now, Lethal and Swirl got it. Deonna Purrazzo, women’s pure champion. Longest reigning men’s pure wrestling champion of all time, Lee Moriarty talking that wave. Who is fucking with that roster?”
