Carlos Silva Confirms Joe Hendry Has Signed With WWE, Says He May Appear On TNA Shows As Part Of WWE-TNA Partnership

Joe Hendry was one of the top stars in TNA Wrestling to begin 2025, carrying the TNA World Title and making appearances in the WWE Royal Rumble and at WWE WrestleMania.

Hendry consistently appeared on NXT television as part of the WWE-TNA partnership. On November 13, Fightful Select reported that Hendry had signed with WWE.

Appearing on the Ariel Helwani Show, TNA President Carlos Silva was asked about Hendry’s status.

“Joe, you’ll see on NXT all the time. As part of our partnership, you may see Joe come back and be on TNA shows because that’s part of what we do with WWE and NXT, we share wrestlers,” he said.

Asked to confirm that Hendry was signed to WWE, Silva said, “That’s right.”

Asked how he felt about Hendry signing with WWE, Silva replied, “I’m super happy for Joe. Super happy for WWE. We all kind of worked on it together. Joe is a great talent and a super good guy.”

Joe Hendry is set to compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline.

Elsewhere during the interview, Silva commented on TNA Genesis. You can find his full comments here.
