Carlos Silva Says Steve Maclin Was Not Diagnosed With A Concussion At TNA Sacrifice
Steve Maclin appeared to have suffered an injury at TNA Sacrifice, causing his TNA World Title bout against Mike Santana to end early.
Santana caught Maclin with a superkick just minutes into the match, and Maclin looked to be knocked out. Multiple TNA officials, including TNA President Carlos Silva, checked on Maclin, who had trouble standing.
Eddie Edwards ran down to brawl with Santana, and the match was ultimately ruled a no contest as Maclin couldn’t continue.
It was reported that Maclin was taken to the hospital for further testing.
Speaking with Jon Alba of SI’s The Takedown, Silva said Maclin was ultimately not diagnosed with a concussion, as he cleared all of his tests and was released back to his hotel for the night.
Fightful wishes Maclin the best as he recovers.
