Carmella Feels That She Has Been Doubted Since Her First Day In WWE

Carmella is used to having the odds stacked against her.

"The Princess Of Staten Island" Carmella was drafted last in the 2016 WWE Draft and fast forward to present day and she is the first women's Money In The Bank winner and a former SmackDown Live Women's Champion. Carmella is set to compete in another Money In The Bank match tomorrow night and on top of prepping for that match, she is also promoting her 'Capo Cagna' wine. Carmella chatted with Hollywood Life to promote both aforementioned topics and when asked how will she prevail in the ladder match tomorrow, she stated that she is used to being cornered and has always felt that she has something to prove and that chip on her shoulder will guide her in the right direction.

"I am used to having a target on my back. I have always had a target on my back, ever since I started with the WWE. I have been doubted since day one. I was the very last draft pick to come to SmackDown Live. I was the last one picked so everyone can relate to being the last one picked in gym class but you know what? I have something to prove. That is what I have done my entire career. I was never the chosen one. I was never on the independents. I never did anything prior to being with the WWE. So, I feel like the people who doubt me, I want to prove them wrong. I want to be a Capo Cagna." She expressed.

Carmella has been paired with former WWE United States Champion R-Truth over the past number of months and Truth is currently engaged in a on-screen feud with Lars Sullivan who was recently fined $100,000 by WWE.
