Carmella got The Rock's attention.
Carmella is known for her famous impressions of some of her co-workers, previously dropping impressions of the women's division and Steve Austin.
On October 11, Carmella brought back the impressions, posting a video of her imitating a famous promo by The Rock.
The video caught the attention of The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment as he sent her a message on Instagram.
"The Rock messaged me on Instagram," Carmella revealed on After The Bell. "He was very complimentary. I couldn't believe it. My mind was blown. He was like, 'Oh my god, that was so funny.' I'm like, 'What is happening right now?' He was like giving me tips, 'the cadence on that is not easy' and he starts cutting a promo and I'm like, 'What is happening?' My mind was blown. I don't fangirl that much -- the amount of people we meet in this business it's like, 'oh, just another day,' but for The Rock to recognize it, what is happening right now?"
Corey Graves, Carmella's boyfriend, said he would have to "take the L" after the Rock's DM.
Carmella is set to face Zelina Vega on Friday's WWE SmackDown with the winner moving to the finals of the Queen's Crown tournament. Fightful will have live coverage of WWE SmackDown beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
